Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that uses no ropes nor climbing aids - it's just you and the wall (and usually some tight-fitting climbing shoes).
The focus is on low-level climbs (i.e. ones that wont kill you if you fall off), which might only have a handful of moves, but require a variety of different skills.
Strength, agility, flexibility, balance, coordination, and very strong fingers are all useful assets, with different combinations coming in to play for different climbs.
